Hi everyone,

I’m proud to be a coach for the Great Britain Deaf Football under 23s, and this year we’ve been given an incredible opportunity to represent our country at the World Championships in Serbia.

For us coaches, this isn’t just about football. It’s about being part of something bigger; supporting deaf athletes to perform on the world stage, breaking down barriers, and showing what our community is capable of when we work together.

All of our coaching staff are volunteers. We give our time freely because we love this team and believe in every single player who wears that badge. But to get to Serbia, we need help covering our travel, accommodation, and tournament costs.

We’ll be there from start to finish; coaching, supporting, analysing, and doing whatever it takes to make sure our players can focus on giving their all. Any donation you can make, big or small, goes directly towards helping us be there for them when it matters most.

We’re so proud to represent Great Britain and the deaf community. With your support, we can make sure the whole team - players and coaches - stand side by side on that pitch in Serbia.

But here’s the truth: Deaf athletes don’t receive the same funding as mainstream squads.
