During current renovations of our barns which house our horses and sheep overnight in winter, it was discovered that the adjoining roofs are in a worse state than first thought and so replacing the entire framework and the roofs themselves is now a fundraising priority! The works will cost at least £30,000 which is a massive target but we have some fun ideas over the next while to help raise the money.
The area which needs re-roofing usually houses some of our pigs each night when they come to bed and is also where we store straw and hay and will also include a much-needed spare box for horses who need to be separated from the others, but still able to see and interact with them, either for medical reasons or if they are a new arrival still settling in.
