We Did It!

Sunday 7th June was a great day for walking the Aberdeen Kiltwalk, a great atmosphere and support from the crowds and fellow walkers helped us cover the 18 miles from Banchory to Duthie Park. A BIG THANK YOU to everyone who sponsored me and contributed to an amazing total to put towards the BP Centre roof replacement.

The fundraising page will stay open until 30th June, so still time to add to the total if you haven't already done so!

Replace old roof on original BP Centre - Turriff BP Centre

The old asbestos roof on the original BP Centre building has outlived it's expected lifespan and is in need of repair.

To eliminate the possibility and risk of releasing any asbestos particles into the air which are a health hazard, rather than repair the sheets we have opted to get a specialist contractor to remove all the old roofing material and then replace the structure with more sustainable insulated sheeting to prolong the life of the building for many more years by the Scout and Guide Units and the many other community groups that use the venue.

£265.00 raised of £200.00 target by 12 supporters

£230.00 donated plus £35.00 in GiftAid
