As the cost of living continues to impact everyone's pocket, we are seeing more and more of our families with a disabled child reach financial crisis levels. It is estimated that parents will spend three times as much raising a disabled child as it costs for non-disabled children. Your financial support will help us to reach up to 75-100 families who are on a low income to receive a £40 Local Supermarket voucher that will help them to purchase a delicious Christmas dinner with all the trimmings - something that many of us take for granted and think nothing of purchasing these little luxuries at this special time of year.
We have calculated that for approximately £40, a family can buy the following: turkey, potatoes, vegetables, Yorkshire puddings, stuffing, gravy, mince pies, pigs in blankets, crackers, Christmas puddings, custard and condiments! A traditional feast! Whilst we are working with over 350 families, at any one time, we know that this year AT LEAST 75 -100 of our families need help financially to ensure they have a quality Christmas dinner just like you.
