Story

This is a quick hello and thanks for clicking on my fundraising page!

I'm sure you'll agree when I say these past few years haven't been amazing and as a result we have all missed lost out on so many opportunities, so you can imagine how I was thrilled to be giving this opportunity to take on the London Marathon 2022, aka Op London.

I couldn't think of a better charity to support, ABI (Acquired Brain Injury) is a charity that supports individuals who have suffered traumatic brain injuries. Being a keen equestrian, i have seen many fellow horse riders suffer traumatic injuries as a result from falls and kicks, therefore this is a fantastic cause to get behind and encourage others to help support such a fantastic charity.

#roadtolondonmarathon update!

So last week i ran in the Great Birmingham run for my first 10k race and got my PB of 51 minuets! which felt like a great achievement and i can not wait to see where this journey takes me.

I have been competing in a few local 5Ks, finishing in the top 3 in my gender category (i even got a little trophy) and hitting PBs at every event! so the progress it there, i have entered the golden ticket series running round the county and cannot wait to be sharing my achievements with you all.

Time to start preparing for the big one! my next step is the Whinlatter forest half marathon up in Cumbria on June 12th, which means heat and hills! sounds lovely!

Don't forget to follow me on social media for updates and drop me a line if you would like to join me for a steady running session (i take part in the Upton Park run every Saturday 9am)
