London Marathon Sunday 21st April 2024 & Cambridge Half Sunday 3rd March 2024
Hey All, Thank you for choosing to support me for this wonderful cause!
I applied to run the London Marathon in the ballot and here we are with a place! Some may think I'm crazy, I do too! Running anything further than a 5km is very new to me. Now I need to find a comfortable pace for 26.2 miles and without any injury.
As I got a ballot place, the choice to run for charity was completely up to me. I have heard from friends that this is a very worthy cause and the work they do is amazing!
‘Something To Look Forward To’ is a charity local to me in Cambridge. The charity is for those suffering from cancer and their families. The charity is not only award winning but truly inspirational by improving quality of life for cancer patients and their families by providing gifts, experiences, essentials to help relieve the financial burden associated with cancer treatment. Which allows for those affected to focus on rest, recuperation, wellbeing, and positive memory building.
I know through friends and family who have been affected by cancer, how much focusing on the positives means to them and can see how beneficial this charity will be to others!
Once again thank you so much for supporting me and more importantly this fantastic cause!
