Darren will be running this years London marathon 2021 to raise money and awareness for TOF’s charity. Darren was due to run the marathon in 2019 but due to injury in training had to postpone his place to 2020, and now here we are 2021 and he is doing it…
Darren is determined to run this marathon for George. Our beautiful 10 year old son was born unable to swallow and was soon diagnosed with OA/TOF after birth and transferred to UHW in Cardiff to perform the repair. George has spent a great amount of his life in hospitals and takes it all in his stride, remarkably strong young man who we are so proud to call our son. When we found the charity TOFS a few years ago now, we wanted to get involved, fundraise where we can and raise awareness for those families out there to know there is a fantastic family of support from the TOFS charity and it’s members.
As you all know TOFS is very close to our hearts as a family, and It’s a fantastic charity and a worthy cause. It will be a great challenge for Darren too! #
