Foxes’ NGO has a heartwarming story. Founded by the incredible Geoff and Vicky Fox in the lush hills of Southern Tanzania, we’ve been making a difference since 2005. Our mission addresses the devastating impact of HIV/AIDS, which has led to a breakdown in family support systems, leaving many orphans vulnerable. We started the Igoda Children’s Village in 2007. Today, it’s home to around 40 kids living in six cozy houses, complete with dedicated caregivers, an on-site clinic, a kindergarten, a nursery, a vocational school, and volunteer accommodation.
But that’s not all! FCWC also serves our community by supporting healthcare, education, and rainforest conservation projects, ensuring water security and protecting native species. Plus, 99.9% of your donations go straight to these on-the-ground projects in Tanzania.
Now, about the Comrades Marathon—it’s a legendary ultramarathon stretching over 86km, one of the oldest and most renowned ultramarathons in the world, and demanding peak physical and mental endurance.
