Malorees fundraising story:

On the 5th of February, 13 members of Malorees parent and staff community will be donning capes and masks to become our children’s superheroes. Led by Bruna Schwerz, our superhero team will be running 10k through the streets of London to raise money for Malorees ongoing sports programme:

“At Malorees, we are committed to the success and inclusivity of our physical education (P.E) and sports program.

We ensure every child has the opportunity to represent their school before they leave in year 6.

As a result, we are arguably the most successful school in the borough having won Brent titles in football, netball, golf, indoor and outdoor athletics, swimming, rugby, table tennis and cross country.

We have a swimming program that produces outstanding results with over 90% of our children able to fulfil the government targets. Well above the national average of 52% and far exceeding the borough average of 19%.

We’re the only school in Brent who have attended both annual Special Educational Needs and Disability (SEND) events over the last two years.

Money raised by the parent/carer community through events like the Winter London 10k run have helped make our ambitious and inclusive sports program possible – for example financing our minibus which has opened up so many opportunities for our children to access.

We aim to continue our successes and keep sport at the heart of our school community. Please help us make that happen.

Malorees PSFA

The Malorees Parent, Staff & Friends Association (PSFA) is a registered charity that works to support the school socially, academically and financially.

All parents and carers, of Malorees School, automatically become members of the PSFA when their children join the school and anyone can stand for the Committee positions in October every year.

Everyone is encouraged to contribute ideas and time/expertise to make events happen.
