Story

Hello! In November, I’ll be taking on the Manaslu Circuit in Nepal, and I’d love to use the trek as an opportunity to fundraise for Hope4Smile.

Hope4Smile is a charity that has been supporting communities in Nepal following the recent devastating floods. Thousands of people have lost family members and homes, and have been left facing enormous challenges. Hope4Smile have been working hard on the ground to help those affected start to rebuild their lives.

Longterm Relief for Nepal - Hope4Smile

On August 26, 2026, catastrophic flash floods and landslides swept through north-central Nepal following a glacial collapse along the Himalayan border. Severe flooding from the Bhotekoshi River has devastated entire mountain communities across the Rasuwa and Nuwakot districts, destroying homes, bridges, and vital infrastructure. Hundreds of lives have been lost, and hundreds more remain missing. Displaced families and children are facing an immediate crisis without safe shelter, clean drinking water, or food. Remote access routes are cut off, making rapid local relief efforts essential to prevent further loss of life.
