Story

I am raising funds for Friends of Alfie martin which was set up after the founder lost her son 25 years ago due to lack of neonatal equipment. I am partaking in a 2 hour energetic Zumbathon as we come together to raise vital funds for Friends of Alfie Martin — a charity dedicated to supporting hospitals with life-saving neonatal equipment for premature and critically ill babies

Every dance step, and every donation will help provide specialist equipment that gives newborn babies the very best chance at life and recovery, while supporting families during some of their most challenging moments.

This event is about more than fitness — it’s about community, hope, and making a real difference. Through music, movement, and togetherness, we aim to help hospitals access essential neonatal resources that can transform outcomes for vulnerable babies in neonatal care units

Together, we can help ensure hospitals have the equipment they need to care for the tiniest patients when they need it most.

Over the last 4 years, Give-A-Gift has worked tirelessly making a difference within the disadvantaged communities around Leeds, providing culturally appropriate food parcels and emergency provisions. We have also fundraised for local Children's charities such as Candlelighters, Leeds Children Heart Foundation and in the past, Martin House.
