Help Us Build Four New Kennels for Dogs on the Streets 

Every day, we receive calls asking if we can help another dog in need.

Sadly, we are now at the point where both of our sites are completely full, and we simply don't have enough safe foster spaces to help every dog that needs us.

Some of our older brick-built kennels have reached the end of their working life. Despite our best efforts to maintain them, their age and condition mean they are no longer suitable for the high standard of welfare we expect for the dogs in our care. As a result, some kennels are now unusable, reducing the number of dogs we can accommodate.

We have a vision to replace all of our ageing kennels with modern, insulated, thermally efficient boarding accommodation, but as a small charity, we simply cannot afford to replace all 40 kennels at once.

So, we're taking one step at a time.

Incredible News!

Thanks to the generosity of an amazing company, we have been given an incredible head start. They have kindly paid a deposit of £8,190 towards a brand-new four-kennel block.

Now we need your help to raise the remaining £8,190 to make this project a reality + £2300 for the concrete base.

These new kennels will provide:

Warm, insulated accommodation during the winter.

Cooler, more comfortable housing during the summer.

Hygienic, easy-to-clean surfaces to improve infection control.

A calmer, safer and more comfortable environment for every dog.

Secure, modern accommodation built to the highest welfare standards.

Every new kennel means another vulnerable dog has somewhere safe to sleep.

Why This Matters

Dogs on the Streets exists to help dogs when they have nowhere else to go.

Some have been abandoned.

Some have been neglected.

Some belong to owners experiencing homelessness, illness or personal crisis.

Whatever their story, they all deserve warmth, comfort, safety and kindness.

Dog care has always been of huge importance to DOTS LONDON founder Michelle through her other homeless outreach projects and she has become known as someone who likes to support the street dogs that so many of our homeless friends have as pets. She originally started providing essentials for the street dogs over five years ago, raising awareness and collecting donations via her original Twitter account @donatesox/@otslondon.

DOTS LONDON is the first independent voluntary ran street project that PROTECTS, CARES & SUPPORTS all street dogs covering the Borough of Westminster, Camden, Shoreditch, East and parts of North London, Michelle was the first to provide dog essentials to homeless people living on the streets of London. This was very much needed and appreciated from the homeless community with dogs. As a result awareness grew and more grass-roots initiatives recognised the need for support with, and donations for street dogs.
