Rob Anderson, Vojo Djukic, Jonathan Martin and Richard Wilson have completed 505 miles of cycling (climbing over 29,000 feet in the process!) over three days as a relay team in September 2023 to raise money to support the activities of Parkinson's UK. Please support them (and us) by donating below - Thank You.
We entered the 2023 'Ardennes Challenge', organised and run by Extra-Mile Challenges (registered charity 1100243), supported by Bedford Park and Milton Keynes Grand Union Rotary Clubs. They provide all the logistical support for the cycle including route planning, signage and marshals and ensure that 100% of any money raised goes to the various event charities, with no deductions for admin or running the event. Route details, and information on how monies raised are used, can be found at www.extra-mile.org.uk
This year our team is supporting Parkinson's UK charity. Parkinson's is a progressive neurological condition that affects around 145,000 people in the UK. It's the fastest growing neurological condition in the world. There is currently no known cure. To find out more about what causes Parkinson's, the symptoms, how it affects people and how the disease progresses, please check out the Parkinson's UK website at www.parkinsons.org.uk
