On the 8th September I will be running for TOFs. Who are a charitable organisation who helped all of us through some of our darkest times when we first had Dottie-Jay. The advice and support shown on the Facebook page alone helped us to adapt and adjust to how different our life was going to become, so I'm going to try my hardest to raise some money for such an important cause which is close to all our hearts. For anyone who doesn't know .... dottie was born with a condition called tracheoesophageal fistula meaning she was born unable to swallow and requiring immediate surgery at a day old to repair her oesophagus. She also has esophageal astresia (floppy wind pipe) in the first year of her life she had to have 9 surgeries. She's my hero. This won't be any easy task especially with me just coming back from ACL surgery myself but I'm so determined to cross that finish line for her as she's the bravest little girl I know.
