New Tech & A New Library! - GVSA
Golden Valley School is on a mission to transform the way our children learn, but the GVSA need your help to make it happen.
The Challenge
Currently, our school’s IT equipment is so outdated that the computers can no longer be updated. This puts our students at a disadvantage in an increasingly digital world. At the same time, we believe every child deserves a dedicated, quiet space to fall in love with reading—a sanctuary for stories and discovery.
The Vision
We have been asked to raise £15,000 to fund a dual-purpose project that will change the face of Golden Valley:
• Mobile Learning: We are replacing the old, stationary PCs with a fleet of brand-new laptops. By moving to laptops, teachers can bring technology directly into the classroom, allowing children more opportunities to learn and create throughout the entire school week.
• The New Library: By removing the bulky old computer desks, the school are reclaiming the IT room! Golden valley school plan to refurbish this space into a beautiful, modern School Library. This will provide a peaceful environment for children to select new books and develop a lifelong passion for reading.
How You Can Help
Raising £15,000 is a huge mountain to climb, but we know the Nailsea community is up to the task. Whether it is the cost of a coffee or a larger corporate donation, every penny goes directly toward the equipment and refurbishment.
