Each year, the Forum fundraises for local charities at our annual Awards dinner.  COVID has put a hold on our 2020 gala dinner but will not stop the Forum team in their mission to help the less fortunate in our region.   Â 

This year the EF team are challenging themselves to run/ walk/ cycle/ swim the 350 miles it takes to circumnavigate our region and virtually visit the head offices of all our entrepreneurial members. 

From Wooller to Wynyard,  Alnwick to Aycliffe and everywhere in between, we’ll give everyone who donates a virtual shout out as we pass on our route.

Feeding Families provides Christmas hampers to families in our region who struggle to make ends meet.  Receiving a food hamper, especially at Christmas, can make a huge difference.   We hope that we can supply at least 20 hamper bringing much needed joy this Christmas

Feeding Families

Feeding Families is an exciting grass roots movement of people inspired to donate food hampers to families in food poverty at Christmas. Through one post on social media to find a family to give a hamper to as an act of kindness, over 200 people initially responded to give or receive. This number rapidly grew into a dynamic movement where families connect and come together to achieve an outstanding act of generosity. Many families are offered the lifeline of food and relief from their circumstances at the most pressured time of year by volunteers who freely give their resources to a specific family . This in turn has an uplifting effect on the donors, who feel they have personally changed lives and given hope.
