Fundraiser - Easter Monday Pilgrimage from Baldock to St Alban’s Cathedral

Story

On Easter Monday, four members of the congregation at St Mary's Church are walking from Baldock to St Alban’s Cathedral in time for the Easter Monday service at 3pm. The distance is approx 24 miles (just shy of a marathon) and will mean leaving Baldock at about 5am to complete the journey in time.

We are raising funds for the restoration of our church hall which was vandalised last summer. The hall is not only open to groups and individuals for bookings, it is also a place of great support to our local community as it opens its doors every week to both the Foodbank and Food Angels.

Your donation will help towards the work of the repairs and well as additional work on making the hall a welcoming and accessible and sustainable space for everyone who uses it.
