Here at Care4Calais (Wimbledon), we are raising funds for refugees and asylum seekers living in Wimbledon and south-west London, to help them celebrate the Christmas season.
We would love to come together as a community and give each resident £30 for Christmas food and celebrations. Any contribution, however small, will go a long way to welcome Wimbledon's refugees.
Care4Calais (Wimbledon) is a volunteer-run charity delivering essential aid and support to refugees living in SW London. Asylum seekers, fleeing wars and persecution, often arrive in the UK with virtually nothing. This includes families with children, pregnant women and many vulnerable adults. We try to help by providing essentials, such as food, toiletries, clothing and friendship. We try to make a difference to their lives.
