Story

My names Natasha, I’m 17 years old and I’m currently studying Physics, Chemistry and Maths at long road sixth-form college. This year I’m challenging myself to run the Cambridge half marathon with the charity 'Something To Look Forward To'.

I’ve considered running Marathons and I thought this year would be a great time to start. The run (and the training) will be a tough challenge but I’m looking forward to race day and being able to support a great charity along the way. 'Something To Look Forward To' is a charity that helps those who have been affected by cancer by providing them with gifts, experiences and essential items.

Statistically, most of us in our lifetime will be affected by cancer and could do with the support of a charity like 'Something To Look Forward To'. Therefore not only am I running this half marathon for my own personal goals but to support and raise money for this charity so they can help more families across the UK. My goal is to raise through sponsorships and fundraising, a total of £300 for by race day (17th October).

If you would like to support me on my journey to a half marathon or if would like to support STLFT, you can help by sponsoring me. I appreciate any small donations and 100% of profits go to the charity.
