Extreme heat is a life-threatening risk for our neighbours sleeping rough. Dehydration, heat exhaustion, and sunstroke are critical dangers when there is nowhere to escape the blistering sun.
Streets Kitchen is out on London’s streets every day providing direct support. Right now, we need your urgent help to restock frontline survival supplies and keep our physical doors open for emergency respite. Every penny donated goes directly to community-led relief.
Where Your Money Goes:
The Solidarity Hub: Funding to open and run our Hub as an air-cooled, safe space where people can escape the heat, rest, rehydrate, and access vital facilities and support.
Water & Hydration: Reusable bottles, electrolyte powders, and water packs to prevent dangerous dehydration.
Shelter & Protection: Tents and lightweight summer sleeping bags for basic safety and dignity.
Sun Safety: High-factor sunscreen, hats, and cooling items to protect against severe sunburn and illness.
How You Can Help:
Donate: No amount is too small. A few pounds buys life-saving water; larger donations keep the cooling systems running at the Solidarity Hub.
Share: Please share this link immediately. Word of mouth is powerful, and we need to reach people fast.
Get Involved: Contact us directly to volunteer your time at the Hub or outreach sessions, or to drop off physical donations.
Extreme weather requires an immediate, collective response. Thank you for standing in solidarity with those experiencing homelessness when they need it most.
