Cambridge Half Marathon, Sunday 3rd March, 2024
My mum, Dinah, was diagnosed with lung cancer in February 2022, and was taken from us in June 2023. She was able to enjoy some of the experiences offered by ‘Something To Look Forward To’ while she was under treatment, including afternoon teas and a food festival.
It goes without saying that cancer creates dark and difficult periods so having ‘something to look forward to’ can really help people to face these hard times.
The gifts offered by the charity are wide-ranging, from restaurant meals and beauty therapy to free breaks in holiday cottages around the UK.
