I'm turning 30! And I want to celebrate with a 30k adventure around London whilst raising funds for TransActual UK.
To mark my 30th birthday, I'll be running/cycling a 30k loop around London on Saturday 21 November 2026, visiting some of my favourite spots from the last four years of living here. Think cosy cafés, favourite bakeries, lovely parks and bookshops – a little tour of the places that have made London feel more like home.
We'll kick things off at 10am at Comptoir Maltby Street and make our way around the city, taking our time to enjoy the stops along the way. This isn't a race, so there's plenty of time to pause, explore and enjoy the day. I'll be running the full 30k, but I'd love for friends to join me on foot or by bike for as much or as little of the route as they'd like. You could join for a few stops, a section or the whole thing! Message me to join the Whatsapp group and follow my location.
We'll finish at 6pm at The Kernel in Bermondsey, where we'll meet up and celebrate together. And if you'd rather skip the route altogether, you're very welcome to join us there for the birthday celebrations!
You can explore the planned route and all the stops on my London 30k map here.
Why I'm fundraising for TransActual UK
Alongside celebrating my birthday, I want to use this milestone as an opportunity to support a cause that matters deeply to me.
Recent anti-trans legislative developments in both the UK and the US have brought renewed restrictions and challenges for trans people, particularly around access to single-sex spaces. At a time when trans communities need support, solidarity and safety, I want to help fund the organisations doing important work to stand alongside them.
TransActual UK is a national advocacy and education organisation working to support trans people
