Fundraiser for 2026 Walthamstow Trans Pride Community Solidarity Fund

Story

It’s been a brutal year for trans rights in the UK, with rising hostility and attacks on our community.

This year Walthamstow Trans Pride is back and with your help we can make it bigger, louder, and prouder.

Our theme this year is Reciprocal Care: exploring how we can look after one another, share resources, strengthen connections and build collective power within our community.

As part of that, we’re launching the Walthamstow Trans Pride Community Solidarity Fund. The money we raise will be redistributed directly to trans people in Waltham Forest who could benefit from financial support, putting reciprocal care into practice in a tangible way.

Give what you can. Raise what you can. Ask your friends, your workplace, your neighbours to do the same. Help us turn the solidarity we know exists in Waltham Forest into real, material support for our trans+ neighbours when they need it.

Walthamstow Trans Pride returns to Walthamstow Trades Hall on Saturday 24th October 2026, bringing our community together for workshops, resources, queer makers, a community meal, live performance, music, DJs, and more.

This year’s theme is Reciprocal Care, exploring how we can look after one another, share resources, strengthen connections, and build collective power within our community.

As part of that, this year we’re raising money for the Walthamstow Trans Pride Community Solidarity Fund. Money raised through the event and our wider fundraising will be redistributed directly to trans+ people in Waltham Forest who could benefit from financial support.

All profits raised through Walthamstow Trans Pride 2026 will go into the fund.
