Fundraiser - Save Max's Eyesight

Story

Earlier this month, we were approached by Max Cogdell, a Ringwood local who at 26 years old has been found to have astigmatism and cataracts in both eyes severe enough that without surgery within the next few months he will likely lose his eyesight.

Surgery to treat his Cataracts is available on the NHS, however to treat the Astigmatism Max will have to go Private, and it is the Astigmatism that can lead to blindness without treatment. As a result, Max needs to raise around £5000 urgently to allow him to undergo surgery to treat the astigmatism before he is able to go back under the knife for treatment on his Cataracts. As a result, Max is in a race against time to avoid losing his eyesight in both eyes - Ringwood we need your help!

We are part of the Round Table UK charitable group. We make a difference to local groups. We are a group who run and assist with various community activities such as Santa Sleigh, Pedal car event, fireworks, carnival, beer and food festivals. ALL money raised gets ploughed back into local charities ventures, from donating to addiction groups, to equipment for disabled children, or holiday or trips for needy children.
