Eight trainee firefighters from Nottinghamshire Fire and Rescue Service are raising money for two charities very close to their hearts - The Fire Fighters Charity and The Good Will Cause.
The Fire Fighters Charity are celebrating their 80th anniversary this year, so to join in the celebrations, they are completing 80,000 steps for 80 years whilst wearing a BA set.
This event will be taking place on Thursday 13 July at Carlton Fire Station, and they will be doing these steps on site using their smoke house and surrounding areas.
On the day there will be an opportunity for the public to look at a fire engine as well as purchase merchandise, drinks and cakes from our stall.
