The Molecular Epidemiology and Public Health group at Queen's University Belfast, together with their friends and family, are completing the 100K in May challenge, each running, walking, cycling, or skipping 100K in the month of May.

The lab team will also be completing a 10K sponsored walk!

We are raising money for the Northern Ireland Kidney Research Fund (NIKRF), the leading charity funding kidney research in Northern Ireland.

Any donations made are massively appreciated, with 100% of the funds supporting the wonderful work of NIKRF!

The Northern Ireland Kidney Research Fund supports a wide variety of research projects at Belfast City Hospital and Queen's University that explore why persons develop kidney failure and assess the best forms of treatment for these kidney conditions.Our aim is also to promote the National Organ Donor Register, anyone can register to join visit www.organdonation.nhs.uk or call 0300 123 23 23 or text SAVE to 84118.The NIKRF depends on individuals and small groups of volunteers to raise funds to support the work of the charity, we have no salaried staff therefore virtually all the money raised is used to support NIKRF's aims.
