It’s been a brutal year for trans people. At a time when trans rights are under attack, we’re turning solidarity into something material.

The Walthamstow Trans Pride Community Solidarity Fund is a pot of money raised by our community that will be redistributed directly to trans+ people in Waltham Forest who could benefit from financial support.

Rather than raising money for an external organisation, we’re pooling what we have locally and putting it directly into the hands of trans people in our borough. The fund is about giving people practical financial support and the freedom to use it towards what they need.

That’s where our Walthamstow Trans Pride Champions come in.

Our Champions are people, groups, workplaces, schools and local businesses raising £50 or £100 in the run-up to Walthamstow Trans Pride on Saturday 24 October 2026.

Whether you raise £20, £50, £100 or more, it all goes into the same community pot.

The principle is simple: we pool what we have. We look after each other.

Talking about solidarity is nice. Materially doing it is better.

Walthamstow Trans Pride Community Solidarity Fund - Walthamstow Trans Pride 2026

Walthamstow Trans Pride returns to Walthamstow Trades Hall on Saturday 24th October 2026, bringing our community together for workshops, resources, queer makers, a community meal, live performance, music, DJs, and more.

This year’s theme is Reciprocal Care, exploring how we can look after one another, share resources, strengthen connections, and build collective power within our community.

As part of that, this year we’re raising money for the Walthamstow Trans Pride Community Solidarity Fund. Money raised through the event and our wider fundraising will be redistributed directly to trans+ people in Waltham Forest who could benefit from financial support.

All profits raised through Walthamstow Trans Pride 2026 will go into the fund.
