About

Disability charities Arthur's Quest (charity no 1185380) and Space 2 Be Me (charity no 1140764)  have teamed up to take part in the Tonbridge Annual Dragon Boat Race on the River Medway in 2024.

We are splitting any money raised 50:50 to support our work with children and young people with disabilities and their families. Also every penny is being gift matched, so that's double every donation making any support go further!

This will be an exciting competitive fundraising event, as teams battle it out through several heats to win the competition. We will have a total of 17 people in any one race, including 16 paddlers and a pace keeping drummer.

We will have a stand along the castle wall, which will also be the team's base. This is a free event, so please do come along and support us on the day and help us cheer on the team  and don't forget to sponsor our wonderful team who are working together to support two fantastic charities...

The team were 3rd most of round 1, and won ALL of their races...in the end the experienced teams stepped up and Space Questers finished 18th out of 28 teams. Brilliant effort!
