🚴 LRP LON2AMS Ride 2026 – Powered by Pedals, Purpose & Your Support 🌟🚴‍♀️💛

On 8th May, a fantastic team of parents and teachers cycling 250km from London to Amsterdam to raise funds for our school. The aim is to help provide resources and opportunities for students that sit beyond the normal state school budget. It’s an incredible community effort and a big challenge for us all, and your encouragement and generosity will help power the team all the way to Amsterdam.

Every rider is covering the cost of the trip themselves, which means every pound donated goes directly to supporting the school.

On 8th May, 30+ parents and teachers from our school will be cycling over 250km from London to Amsterdam to raise money for the school’s PTA.

It’s a big challenge for all of us, and we’ve been training for months through early mornings, long weekend rides, wind, rain and plenty of sore legs to get ready.

If you’re able to support us, please consider donating and sharing this page. Your encouragement and generosity will help power the team all the way to Amsterdam.

Why we’re doing this

Like many secondary schools, the core budget covers the basics, but it rarely stretches to fund extra experiences, opportunities, and resources that make learning engaging, inspiring, and real-world relevant for students.

Through this ride, we want to raise money for initiatives that enhance students’ learning, creativity, and personal development.

Your support could fund:

📚 Advanced classroom resources and technology

⚽ Outdoor and sports equipment to keep students active

🎨 Creative and performing arts projects

🧪 STEM workshops and enrichment activities

🏫 Improvements to shared spaces for collaboration and study

These are the opportunities that help students develop new skills, explore their passions, and thrive both in and out of the classroom.

The challenge ahead

Cycling over 250km from London to Amsterdam won’t be easy — there will be long days, headwinds, and tired legs. But every pedal stroke will be powered by the knowledge that we’re helping our students make the most of their school experience.
