Our playground at Cavendish Primary School is in need of improvement and regeneration.

As a rights respecting school, we would love to be able to provide an inspiring and fun space for the children that focuses on play, learning and wellbeing. A space that engages with children and helps them to thrive in new and imaginative ways.
Following the successful installation of the spectacular climbing frame in the Summer of 2024, the next phase of the project is to raise funds for an impressive playground stage and amphitheater, as suggested by the children themselves!
To help bring this vision to life, Cavendish PTA will be fundraising for the project as well as getting the children and local community involved.
In fact, each year group at Cavendish will be generating their own fundraising ideas for the project - such as bake sales, sponsored car washes/walks and so on - with a collective aim for each to raise up to £2025 in 2025 for the cause and adding their donations to the year group pots below. The winning year group who raises the most money by the end of the year will receive a mention in the school’s newsletter and get to pick an in-school reward to finish the term!
