Join us for 'An Evening with Sal Montgomery - Small girl, Big Adventures' at Warwick Hall!
Note: Ticket sales close 8 pm, 16th September, please email seascouts@2wk.org.uk if you would still like to join us on the night and we will see what we can do.
Hosted by 2nd Warwick Sea Scouts
Sal, a Scout Ambassador, will speak to us about her life as a professional adventurer, kayaker and her passion for the environment. We will hear all about her role as a safety kayaker for Steve Backshall on his expeditions (and one very famous incident when she saved his life!). We will also hear about her recent 'Pedal 4 Parks' challenge she's doing Summer 2021, where she is cycling the length of the UK across land and sea to protect our National Parks.
After Sal's talk there will be lots of time for Q&A's; as well as time to complete a fun table quiz you will be given on arrival. Round tables of 8 will be set out and a small anti-pasti selection provided free of charge. A full bar will be available throughout the night, and a few other fun activities arranged to keep you entertained including a quiz and raffle!
