About

Recently retired Harold Fry (Jim Broadbent) receives a letter from a former colleague, Queenie Hennessy, revealing her terminal illness. Moved by the letter, Harold decides to walk over 600 miles to visit Queenie in person, believing that his journey can somehow prolong her life. Setting out with little preparation or equipment, Harold encounters a variety of people and experiences along the way, reflecting on his past, his relationship with Queenie, and the regrets he carries.
