It works to enrich the experience of the pupils at Gayhurst by developing a strong, effective relationship between the staff, parents and others associated with the school. Through its involvement in activities and organising events it supports the school by providing facilities or equipment to create an exciting and stimulating environment which will enhance the childrens’ learning. The funds raised by COGS are intended to provide ‘extras’ not already provided by the schools main budget. It is a registered charity and is run and organised on a voluntary basis.
