This year we are revamping our Virtual Walk for Life, a fun event for you to take on with family, friends or work colleagues. Complete your Walk for Life distance (26.2 miles) in as many stages as you’d like, in your own time across the Summer: a great way to enjoy the summer sun and engage with your family / work colleagues over the summer holidays. Get your furry friends involved too! Every walker registered will receive a Walk for Life T-shirt and medal.
The Walk for Life is running as an independent event where you will log your own distance across the period. You can share your success stories with us via social media, for us to share as well. Our Walk for life is promoting healthy living and improved wellbeing for all. Walking and exercising is great for fitness but it is also known to improve mood by increasing blood flow to the brain.
Kidney Wales do not receive any government funding, we rely on our community fundraising events to continue the services provided to kidney patients and their families across Wales.
