About

Wolverhampton LGBT+ has been supporting LGBT+ folk since 2017. We have around 30 partner organisations and engage with thousands of local people on a monthly basis whether that be information on our website and socials or in person at our support services. In 2021 Wolverhampton LGBT+ became a charity, this has enabled us to build a bigger and better service and take on a new physical space which will eventually be a leading hub for the LGBT+ community in Wolverhampton and The Black Country. We currently run an outstanding counselling service with a 7 day turn around from referral to counselling starting, this is unlimited free support for as long as the person needs it (no limited sessions with us!), free yoga classes, free meet-ups in a local inclusive coffee shop (twice weekly), Free online social groups for; gay and bi men, gay and bi women, gender diverse folk and LGBT+ people of colour, a free monthly walking group and have many other pop-up and social events being planned. The aims of Wolverhampton LGBT+ is to; make Wolverhampton a warm and inviting place to visit, offer safe and inclusive services, better support our LGBT+ community and to increase the mental health and well-being of local LGBT+ people.
