Kenilworth Community Care, known as 'Waverley Day Centre' is a registered charity established in the 1980’s, it provides day opportunities, social activities, wellbeing support, and community engagement for older people in Kenilworth and the surrounding area. We support approximately 40 older adults each week, many of whom experience isolation, mobility challenges, dementia, or other age-related health conditions. We are open Tuesday to Friday inclusive and provide a day opportunity along with a home cooked nutritious meal, social interaction and activities to support physical and mental wellbeing. A unique element of the service is that we provide transport to and from the day centre in our own minibus , without which many clients would have no way of accessing the service and would experience greater levels of social isolation.
