The Spokesmen Legends 2025

About

Two teams of cyclists - The Spokesmen Legends (Tim, Manfred, Jon and Lawrence) and The Spokesmen (Russell, Patrick, Richard and Oliver) are taking part in the 2025 Extra Mile "£2m Swiss" Challenge cycling over 500 miles in 3 days from Metz to Mulhouse and surrounding areas, taking in parts of France, Luxembourg, Germany and Switzerland. 75% of our team's donations will be split between a Bedford-based Community Interest Company Food etc (empowering people to make better food choices) and AMMF (the UK’s only cholangiocarcinoma charity, dedicated to tackling this devastating bile duct cancer on all fronts). The remaining 25% and all of the gift aid will be shared between the charities supported by the event organisers (the Rotary Clubs of Bedford Park and Milton Keynes Grand Union) - Citizens Advice Bureau Bedford, Willen Hospice and Thames Valley Air Ambulance and the trust funds of the two organising Rotary Clubs.

£2 Million Swiss Challenge - Extra Mile Challenges

Our Extra Mile 2025 Challenge is the £2 Million Swiss Challenge.

Teams of 4 cyclists will cycle, in relay, 500 miles on 19-21 September in 4 different countries - France, Luxembourg, Germany and Switzerland. These countries are quite mountainous and all cyclists will be challenged and most worthy of your generous giving.  Total elevations over the 3 days are 38,000 ft. The cyclists will enjoy roads with low levels of traffic, few potholes and amazing scenery to keep them going.
