We are always looking for more ways to fund our festival.
We aim to arrange a free, annual walking festival, for all ages and abilities. Whilst we do manage to get grants, we find there is always something else to pay for, whether that be for wines at our launch walk, a transfer bus or a few extra brochures.
All our committee, walk leaders are volunteers, however we do need to pay for printing, and for someone to design our marketing material and manage our website. Also things like public liability insurance, and for all the little extras which help to make our festival special and free for all eg bus transfers, wine for our launch walk, etc.
We very much appreciate all donations*. Note that if you donate £200 or more, we can include your name and/or logo along with an official thank you in our brochure and on our website. This is subject to our print deadline which will be in July for the current year.
*Any surplus will be held securely for the following year's festival, or may also help with other events we may put on to promote/facilitate volunteering for us, or the festival itself.
