Soho Parish Primary PTA is a registered Charity which raises funds to enrich the experience of pupils at the school. Every year the PTA raises thousands of pounds that go directly to the school to support a range of acitvities which otherwise the children would not have access to. These include:
- a fund for each class teacher to organise school trips, activities or buy special equipment
- free fruit for the children to have at breaks
- support for the School's unique Arts Week
- and many other activities
This is only possible because the families of our pupils and the local community make generous donations via the PTA. Sometimes these are one-off donations and others set up direct debits - every little helps! And as a registered charity, for every £1 you donate, we can claim and additional £0.25 from the government via the GiftAid scheme.
