The Society for Abandoned Animals has been helping animals in need in the Manchester area since 1966.

We were founded by Peggy Henderson who has left a wonderful legacy to allow the charity to keep progressing. We take in cats and small animals

that need a place to stay, get them in good health and then find forever homes for them. The SAA will never put a healthy animal down and are committed to making sure every animal that comes through our doors is happy, healthy, loved and cared for.

We have a colony of feral cats who cannot be rehomed so live freely on site.
