Support the Challenge x Change Young Lives

On Saturday 7th June 2025, a crew of world-class sailors - led by Olympic gold medallist Dr Iain Percy OBE - will take on the legendary Round the Island Race aboard Ocean Breeze, a high-performance Volvo 65/70. With Olympic champions, world champions, and top business leaders on board, they’re chasing the monohull race record to raise life-changing funds for the Andrew Simpson Foundation (ASF).

ASF empowers young people through sailing, helping them develop life skills, confidence, and career opportunities, especially those who wouldn't otherwise have the chance.

The Andrew Simpson Foundation (ASF) was inspired by Olympic Gold and Silver medallist Andrew ‘Bart’ Simpson MBE. Our mission is to transform lives through sailing. Absolutely everything we do is driven by our belief that all young people can excel and succeed in life and work. We believe that the challenges of sailing and watersports do this by promoting health and well-being whilst also building essential life skills. These skills then enable young people to progress through education and into work.
