About

π guitars are built differently.

π guitars was set up by Nailsworth Community Workshop to make beautiful guitars with people having difficulties with their mental health.  Through the process of making the guitars the volunteers begin to feel better in so many ways.

All our guitars are made from recycled or locally sourced wood, as over the years the musical industry has been partially responsible for the destruction of the worlds rain forest.  We want to show it is not necessary to cut down rain forests  to build beautiful guitars.

Finished guitars are then donated to community music projects; or sold to help fund the production of more guitars, and thereby continue supporting our volunteers. So your donation will be working in two ways at once

Thanks,

The  π guitars Team of Staff and Volunteers

Pi Guitars

π guitars are built by volunteers who attend the Nailsworth Community Workshop in Nailsworth, Gloucestershire An increasing number of people struggle with anxiety and their mental health. We've decided to build our guitars this way in order to instill confidence, self belief and transferable skills in all who work with us. Our guitars are made completely from recycled and locally sourced timber; using handmade Bare Knuckle pickups and other top class, responsibly manufactured hardware Finished guitars are either sold to help fund the project, or donated to musical projects that support mental health and wellbeing. Guitar donations are only made possible because of the generous support of our sponsors.
