About

The Nihal Armstrong Trust was set up in memory of Nihal who died at the age of 17, on the brink of adulthood, with an endowment from his mother. We provide funds to buy equipment or services which are desperately needed by children with cerebral palsy, living in the UK, and which the local authorities will not or do not provide. Many parents struggle to meet all their child's needs, particularly at this time of funding cuts. We are a small charity with limited funds which do not stretch to meet all the demands made on us, deserving of our assistance though they are. Our trustees are experts with many years experience of working with or living with cerebral palsy. We are unique in that hundred per cent of our money goes directly to children in need as we all work on a voluntary basis and we contribute to the administrative costs of the charity.
