Nicola's focus is on finding solutions to the numerous environmental and social problems she has encountered hence her job title Environmental Solutionist. Her work includes producing a documentary Blood of the Amazon, building rainwater systems for indigenous families drinking contaminated water due to the oil industry, co-founding the Amazon Mycorenewal Project (showing the use of fungi and bacteria in remediation), building out of eco-bricks (plastic bottles filled with rubbish) and coordinating the teaching of agroforestry to prevent the slash and burn of the rainforests. Nicola is an award winning environmentalist and an inspirational speaker on what we really can do to make the world a better place.
