Mohanji Centres of Benevolence: Nurturing Spirituality

Mohanji Centres of Benevolence (MCB) are sanctuaries dedicated to refining humanity's spiritual journey through the principle of Ahimsa, or non-violence. These sacred spaces advocate for a vegan lifestyle, promoting harmony with nature and all beings.

Visiting MCB Scotland

Nestled in Aberdeenshire, MCB Scotland lies near Huntly, an hour's drive from Aberdeen. Covering 14 acres, this serene haven includes woodlands, fields, a tranquil pond, and a gentle stream. At its core stands a quaint 5-bedroom farmhouse, accompanied by barns and a picturesque riding school.

Sacred Spaces at MCB Scotland

In early 2023, MCB Scotland underwent a profound transformation. A humble barn became a serene sanctuary for prayer and meditation, graced by Shirdi Sai Baba and Lord Ganesh. A small temple dedicated to Lord Dattatreya now stands within a glass summerhouse, consecrated on June 15th and 16th, 2023, marking a milestone for MCB Scotland.

Future Plans for MCB Scotland

MCB Scotland sets sights on ambitious projects to enhance its offerings. Plans include an environmentally friendly sewage treatment plant and a permanent toilet and shower block, budgeted at £20,000. Robust camping facilities resilient to North Scotland's weather are in the works, estimated at £30,000. Acquiring highland cows and creating facilities for them costs approximately £20,000. Long-term visions involve converting barns into living quarters and the riding school into a satsang hall.
