Malham Cove and Gordale Scar are 2 of the most well known landscapes in the Yorkshire dales. They are both owned by Kirkby Malham Parish Council which is run entirely by volunteers. This year we have had to pay over £13,000 to manage the effects of Ash Die Back . This has involved the felling of 100s of Ash Trees and the pruning of many others. Your donations will help us to manage the recovery of this woodland more effectively.

Please help us to manage these 2 iconic landscapes. Ash die back has devastated both these areas and the Parish Council has just had to pay £13,000 to remove the dangerous dead Ash Trees. We are currently managing the recovery of the woodland. There are no grants available to help with funding this safety work so any contributions from visitors to these 2 sites would be a huge help.
