Letchworth Foodbank supporting those facing hunger across Letchworth, Hitchin and Baldock.

Every single week, families and individuals right here in our community are facing an impossible choice. With the relentless rise in the cost of fuel, food, and rent, many of our neighbours are skipping meals just to keep the lights on and a roof over their heads.

Hunger isn't happening somewhere else, it is happening on our doorstep across Letchworth, Hitchin, and Baldock.

But together, we are fighting back.

Thanks to the incredible generosity of people like you, we refuse to let hardship win. In the last year alone (2025/2026), our community rallied together to provide 3,724 emergency food parcels to neighbours in crisis. That is thousands of moments where despair was turned into relief, comfort, and hope.

These aren't just statistics; they are children, parents, and elderly neighbours who were given a lifeline when they needed it most. We don't just provide food, we provide the breathing room and support people need to find their footing and move out of hardship for good.
