Jack and Jill's sponsored Toddle Waddle

The Jack and Jill community will be undertaking a toddle waddle on the afternoon of Saturday 27th June 2026 in the grounds of St Monica's care home. Children, parents, grandparents, staff and residents of the care home will be getting active and walking/running laps of the beautiful St Monica's garden. The challenge is to cummulatively complete 500 laps of the grounds which equates to around 260 miles!

We've made a fantastic start to the year. Details about our summer toddle waddle will be out shortly.



We are raising money for the Bujagali Trust. Our aim is to provide literacy resources for Mama Elisabeth's nursery school in Uganda. Throughout the year we will be sharing stories and experiences with the children from Mama Elisabeths’ and organising a range of fundraising events too.

First stop The London Marathon! Claire has been training hard all Spring for the big day at the end of April. Every pound donated will help power her very tired legs over the gruelling 26.2 miles!

Over the rest of the year the children and staff at Jack and Jill are going to get involved in a number of fundraising activities to support Mamma Elizabeth's nursery school so keep checking back to see what's going on.

Just three weeks left until the London Marathon! I've run over 300 miles of training in wind, rain, sunshine and frost so hopefully the day itself will won't bring snow!
