Home-Start Bracknell Forest has been supporting local families and changing children's futures for over 30 years.
It is our belief that children do well when parents get the support that they need.
We offer personalised early years family support to vulnerable and disadvantaged Bracknell Forest families, with children aged 5 years and under, facing difficult times. Our practical and emotional support is delivered through local specialist trained volunteers with lived experience.
Our support is confidential, flexible and responsive to each family’s unique needs. Volunteers provide a listening ear, reassurance, encouragement and motivation, positive role-modelling, as well as practical help.
We support families through challenges such as relationship breakdown, isolation, mental health struggles, multiple birth, coping with illness, disability and feelings of exhaustion, as well as difficulty coping with children’s learning and developmental needs.
We are calling on the support and generosity of our community to join us and help raise essential funds to continue making positive change for local families.
