Hands Up for Down’s is a volunteer run charity for children with Down’s syndrome and their families in the Swansea Bay area. We provide vital therapies, social activities as well as emotional and practical support to members and their families. The therapies include individual speech and language therapy which develops core communication and life skills to help members reach their full potential. Other therapies include specialist physiotherapy, swimming and family gymnastics. The work we do supports and nurtures members so they can lead as fulfilling a life as possible and integrate into the communities around them.
Hands Up for Down’s was established in 2014 and became a registered charity in 2016.
